Your mission

We are Vertigo Games, developers and publishers of top-end VR titles like Metro Awakening, Arizona Sunshine, After the Fall and The 7th Guest. Our Amsterdam studio has started development of our next set of games, following Metro Awakening, and we are looking to recruit a Lead Game Producer who can aid us in our mission.

Do you know the ins and outs of game development project management and like working with a team of creative and talented people on games that push the boundaries? Then we should meet!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Management of the studio’s game development projects to finish within budget, time and scope, for both the VR and non-VR projects.
Setting up and monitoring development plans and road maps for all projects in the studio.
Communication between team, management, and external stakeholders.
Risk and issue management, addressing potential problems before they become obstacles.
Management of the studio’s production processes and tools.
Leading and coaching of the studio’s production team.

Your profile

Previous working experience in game production typically gained over 8+ years, having worked on multiple game projects, on multiple platforms.
Experience in having full production responsibility for a major game development project.
Solid understanding of game development processes and technologies, with experience in all phases of development.
Established communication, people, presentation, organizational and documentation skills.
Highly skilled in the use of Jira, Excel/Google Sheets, and other project management tools, and experience with agile development processes.
Deadline driven and detail-oriented, a high level of initiative, and a strong sense.

Bonus points for

Production experience in mobile game development.
Previous production experience in AAA game development.
Experience with Virtual Reality game development.
